Cleanest Waters in Florida
Dear Jim,
This is a little out of the ordinary, but I'm retiring late this year
and want to move to FL. Would you have any advice on what lakes/rivers
have the cleanest water? (I release most of what I catch, but a nice
meal now and then...)
My first choice is somewhere along the northern part of the St Johns
River, second choice is around Hernando, but I really know little about
FL waters and am open to any suggestions. If I'm careful, I can afford a
waterfront place as long as it's not fancy.
If you have any advice on where to look, or where not to look, I'd be
grateful.

The best place I have seen anywhere in Fla. is Inverness. Great community - quiet, new, nice and few undesirables. Really a super place. I have retired friends there. Water front on Lake Talsa Apopka is available. You will like it. Go check it out and you will be sold on it.
