Rigs for Florida Lakes in June
Dear Jim,
I am going to Lake Blue Cypress & stick marsh/farm 13 next month june 5, 6 & 7 2003. I was wondering what types of rigs/lures should I use and what colors work best. I am from S. FL and most of the lakes I fish I use spinner baits (usually Chartruese skirt), mostly bubble gum cattilpillars (soft plastic) and sometimes top water (Rapala blk silver, poppers etc.).
I notice a lot of articles talk about crankbaits. I have never used a crankbait before do you have any pointers for me.
Any response would be greatly apprectiated
Thanks,
Patrick
Patrick:
What you need to do is call me or email me just before you come up. I can tell you then what is going on. It may change between now and then. Until then, read my fishing reports and relate where I say I am fishing to the interactive map on the web site. I will be posting a Marsh Status Report in a few days and it will have more details. Watch for it.
Jim P.

A common question that we get: "Is there somewhere close to get bait and tackle?" This is where we get our bait.
