Lake Crescent
Dear Jim,
I have enjoyed reading your fishing articles. Hopefully, one day I will be able to get on the water as much as you're able to. I am envious.
I fished Lake Crescent last Sunday without much success and was wondering if you thought the bass are in pre-spawn, spawn or post-spawn this time of year? Also, where do the fish spawn in this lake? I caught just a few fish in scattered areas.

Jan and Feb are spawning months in that area. The only time I actually saw them on the beds was back in the shallow eel grass flats on the west side up by Dunn's Creek.
