Difference in the SWII and the original SW
Dear Jim,
I use the Swimming Worm a lot on the tidal rivers where I live and would like to try
yours out. What is the main difference in the SWII and the original SW? Which do you prefer?
Thanks, Flipp
Flipp:
The SWII is molded in a firmer arc, while the basic SW can be adjusted to the desired arc by sliding the body along the line a bit.
I really don't have a preference. Each works equally well. But, people who are using it for the first time find the SWII to be best because they don't have an adjustment problem and get to see right away why it works so good. I find I really don't need to strong corkscrew action most times. I often pull the basic SW into a straight line and fish it slow and steady that way. It always has some roll to it.
