Man, they catch grass and get hung on everything. Well, along comes old Fishin' Tipster, Weekend Semi-Pro and resident backlash picking champion, with the solution. Take a look at the photo. All you need is some small plastic tubing and pair of scissors, just like what we used on the tie point of the lures. Just be sure the trailer hook has a large eye. This little trick works like a champ! It keeps the hook exactly where you position it. It is also a very good way to add a hook to those floating frog lures.
