Disposing of fish Cleaning Leftovers
Fish entrails and trimmings are best disposed of by dumping them in deep water where they will nourish other aquatic life. When that is impossible, burying them in shallow holes in the garden or in the woods enhances soils. When natural disposal is inconvenient, placing the refuse in a plastic bag and storing it in your freezer until garbage collection day will eliminate the odor problem.
