OLD FISHIN' TIPSTER'S
TIPS AND TRICKS
Got a question about fishing, that you have never been able to figure out?
Well, along comes old Fishin' Tipster, Weekend Semi-Pro and resident backlash picking champion, with the solution.
MANAGING AND PROTECTING SMALL ITEMS
Being small and watertight, empty plastic film canister with a snap on lid have a zillion and one uses. You can separate hooks by size, keep weights/swivels/snaps/etc. in them, and keep spare fuses safe and ready. I even keep a few headache pills and Tums in the boat in the small containers. By adding a few grains of rice to each, you can also prevent rust and moisture damage (raw rice is hydroscopic and absorbs moisture). Unless your film canisters are light-colored or have a light-colored top, you may have to label them. Otherwise, simply use an indelible pen for marking. If your wife, or a friend, is in to Tupperware, they will have access to a multi-compartment container assembly you might like (seeing photo). It even has some clear windows so you can see what's inside each compartment.
